What is the Architecture, Engineering & Construction Collection?
The AEC Collection provides designers, engineers, and contractors a set of BIM and CAD tools supported by a cloud-based common data environment that facilitates project delivery from early-stage design through to construction.
Create high-quality, high-performing building and infrastructure designs with conceptual and detailed design tools.Optimize projects with integrated analysis, generative design, and visualization and simulation tools.Improve predictability in the field with tools that maximize constructability and project coordination.
The AEC Collection supports the full lifecycle of building and infrastructure design and construction. The online service is available with monthly or annual subscriptions that include access to Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, Autodesk Advance Steel (formerly Tekla Structures), Autodesk Vault (formerly Inventor EPDM), Autodesk 3ds Max, Revit APIs, Mep Formwork and RFA Design Review. AEC Collection users also have access to the centralized global data environment. Autodesk Architecture & Engineering content is integrated with design capabilities in Revit, Navisworks and Autodesk Vault for the complete solution.
The AEC Collection includes tools that support project management, construction design and coordination, and construction administration. These tools include Autodesk Vault for project documentation, as well as Autodesk Contractor Suite (formerly Inventor) suites developed on top of the underlying architecture and engineering data. The autodesk Cabinets suite is also available as a standalone product (not included with AEC Collection subscriptions).
