Word processing made easy
This program is easy to use from the beginning but with lots of useful tools as one learns more and more. It's an excellent word processor. The tables are easy to manipulate. It's simple to add in photos. The mail merge is easy to understand and put together. So it will go from simple to complex, depending on what you want it to do.
Pros
As a long-time user of both Word Perfect and MS Word, I recommend Word Perfect. "Reveal codes" is a useful tool, allowing control and flexibility in creating a document. WP was one of the original word processing programs, and it's added features and useful tools through the years. It is excellent for legal documents and self-publishing!
Cons
There's nothing I dislike! Except that I wish Dragon Speaking worked with the latest versions. I also wish MS Word didn't dominate the app market since it's a challenge to find apps that function with WP.
