The Ideal Tool for Productivity, Notes, and Collaboration
OneNote is a solid tool for productivity; highly recommend it.
Pros
OneNote solves a lot of issues - it is the cure to paper notepads that we all need. During meetings, I no longer have to flip through pages or notes and hope I can read my own handwriting. Instead, I can have all my notes in hand, keep main source documents available, sort, share, and annotate those notebooks with other colleagues. I enjoy the ability to use the app with the iPad and it's ability to sync with the desktop versions; I've been able to keep various notebooks and take notes on Power points using that feature. I use the checklist feature extensively to make sure my team and I are keeping track of everything we need to do.
Cons
I wish the pencils that you can use came in more colors and shades. I do think that it is lacking some features with the touch-sensitive area; sometimes when annotating a document or page, it will save it differently, leaving the notes in a different area than where they were written. You can move the doc within the page over to fix the overlap, however it is a bit annoying to do.
